Nightwatch

Casey already saw an early version of this sketch. I changed it up a bit. I originally had a shotgun in his hand. It was flat looking and just... well.... out of place with the compisition. I gave him the staff and Casey made a suggestion about their eyes. I think it was a better choice in the long run. If I get the piece colored or atleast get it toned, I'll add a light source to the crystal to make it look like its glowing. So there you go. A Dwarven wizard and his pet wandering at night.

Flying Axe Style

A sketch that had been long overdue for a finish. Thanks to Casey, I got the EX version of Manga Studio and I plan to see how the digital inking goes. I like the feel of her design. She is much like a crane herself. The shape of the axes with the bone handles ties it all together for me.
