Makoto

I had some good vibes going today. So I made a push to get another sketch done before the end of the day. Well, I failed since its well after midnight. I'm still feeling good, none the less. I wanted to do a Makoto sketch. I did a drawing of her a while back where I made her younger and cute. None of that happened today. I wanted to make her more feminine. Makoto is built like a dude. No Joke. Go play Street fighter 3, third strike and you'll see. Anyway I still wanted her to be somewhat tough looking but still not so Brute. I didn't bother coloring. It would have taken me another day and I'm just happy with how quickly I turned this around

Elena Pt2

I've been really indulgent lately. On the other hand, my day to day work has been stressing me out. So at least I can have fun with my sketches. It had been a long time since I played around with this character. I just really wanted to draw her upside down. Thats the honest truth. I had no other inspiration other than that. I'll prolly get another one in before the end of the year.

Isabelle

I just wrapped up a sketch for a guy whose a fan of my artwork. I have been busy lately, but I've been trying to commit to getting some sketches done. I don't often get people asking me to draw in my style so I saw it as more fun than extra work. I think the real challenge was trying not to go to far. I mean it is someone's wife we're talking about. Adam Hughes had a rant about how "not" to draw a guys girlfriend. I think that there's a sketch of it up somewhere.

Scotland Turnaround

Erica has been nudging me on to get a turn finished for two of my older sketches. I had a talk with her last week and decided that if I just set aside some time, I could get at least one of the two done. I've also got to get caught up on a fan request. More on that later. I been seeing a lot of cool posts on AAC. Need to get started on one of my own. Although I had hope to make Kurenai my first post. It was about a few days before I joined so I hesitated. Kinda seems past the point to add it now.

Red Ninja 2

A while back I did a sketch of one of my favorite ninja of all time, Kurenai. From the ill received game "Red Ninja". When I decided to go off the deep end I, of course, kept her in mind. Also, there was a posting that I came across by some folks at Udon. They had a project where they took an old sketch and redrew it. The older sketches were like 6 years ago. I saw some pretty cool stuff come out of that project and was inspired by it. Sadly, my senses have recovered and I think its time to act more civilized. No more cleavage windows and girls with little to nothing on for a while. Although I may try to rough out a few pieces for that sketch book. We'll see.

R. Mika

Yeah, I went off on a tangent "hard" this time. Just taking another crack at that R. mika costume re-design. I originally planned to have her making some comment about not being in street fighter 4. After the "Powah Grrl" sketch, I just didn't want to make a trend out of it. It was fun, and it's urging me to sketch up some other characters I wanted to revisit. If get the time soon, I already know who I'm going after next.
